We passionately believe in our food at Sunbank House Hotel. We also believe you need to feel good to enjoy a great dining experience to the full and we are sure that our delightful, informal, stylish yet easy friendly atmosphere and ambience will help make your whole dining experience complete.

We also believe and know that food alone is not the only reason why people enjoy a memorable dining experience so it's important to us that everything is done right and to the best of our ability. We must be doing something right as we continue to welcome return customers and enjoy the opportunity to renew 'auld acquaintances'.

We believe in our simple, classic culinary product – complex twists and novelties too often distract from the final dish so we tend to avoid them. And our informal restaurant (or our lovely bar lounge if you prefer a snack) is all about making people welcome, comfortable and feeling at ease.

If you are coming to stay with us – we do encourage you to book dinner or supper in advance, as the hotel is popular with local discerning diners!

And as you might expect of a small hotel so blessed in its setting – fresh local produce is the particular speciality. Scotland’s natural larder is showcased to the full. Our menus always offer an interesting choice of traditional, and a few international favourites, chosen and carefully prepared by Remo, chef-patron. As his name suggests, some excellent Italian cuisine features from time to time!  He prepares special dishes daily. Freshly cooked, uncomplicated cuisine, easy on the palate with local flavours always shining through.
